Today it thrives under the leadership of Principal Broker Margie Lelia, who has been in the real estate business for more than 25 years and is a Scarsdale representative to the National Association of Professional Women. RE/MAX began as a dream and a plan on a pad of paper, a controversial idea to build a real estate powerhouse where experienced, productive agents would keep more of their commissions and enjoy the freedom to run their business as they saw fit.
